Hi, I’m Jacques– entrepreneur, designer, college professor, and writer of this blog. 6 years ago, I began the journey of turning my passion for design into a profitable business. I started out with $0 investments, no partners, and absolutely no experience. Just a 20-year-old kid who set out to build a business through trial and error. (read my full bio here)
Today, that business is called boogie— a marketing agency with a team of 10 creatives spread across 3 locations.
After 6 years of making mistakes from hiring the wrong people, working with the wrong clients, not charging enough for my services, trying to grow my business alone, and much more, I came to the realization that it doesn’t matter that I didn’t start with years of experience, it doesn’t matter that I didn’t have any investors, and it barely mattered that I didn’t start out with any clients. All that mattered was the fact that I got up every single day willing to commit to putting in hard-work & hustle.
And that’s why I started this blog: to show hustlepreneurs like you that if you’re hungry for it, and are willing to work hard for it… you can achieve it.
Whether your hustle is a blog, a YouTube video series, a freelance/consultant career, building your personal brand, or even if that hustle is to lose 50 lbs by next year– as long as you’re willing to put in the work, you’ll be able to achieve all of your goals.
